What are the different types of Baptism and what do they symbolize?

In many churches, baptism symbolizes the rite of admission into the Christian Church.

Aspersion: sprinkling water on the head.

Affusion: pouring water over the head.

Immersion: refers to dipping in the water.

Submersion: Is complete immersion. This some times takes place in a river or lake.
